Why product demo videos take so long #
A good demo video looks effortless and takes hours. You write a script, clean up test data, rehearse the clicks, record, notice a typo in scene three, record again, then trim the loading spinners, add captions and maybe a voice-over. Every time the UI changes, the video is out of date and the whole process starts over.
DemoReady replaces that process with software. It doesn't record you; it performs the demo itself, in a real browser, the same way every time.
How the AI demo generator works #
- Paste a URL. DemoReady opens your app in a real Chromium browser and maps what's on screen: navigation, buttons, forms and content.
- Pick a story. It suggests three demo stories based on what your app does, or you describe your own ("show how to create a project and invite a teammate").
- Review the script. An AI director turns the story into scenes, each with a caption and an optional spoken line. Edit anything before recording.
- Watch it record. The director performs each scene live: an eased cursor, click ripples, spotlights that dim the rest of the screen, callouts on key moments and text typed at human speed.
- Download or share. You get a 1080p MP4 with intro and outro cards, or a share link. Page loads and AI thinking time are cut automatically, so the video only shows things happening.
What makes the videos look hand-made #
- Cinematic cursor motion with easing, so clicks look intentional rather than robotic.
- Spotlights and callouts that point attention at the one thing that matters in each scene.
- Scene captions that tell viewers what they're looking at and why it matters.
- Voice-over in seven natural voices, timed to the frame each line belongs to.
- Your brand color in captions, highlights and title cards, and a pace setting (relaxed, normal or snappy).
- No dead time. Frames are only captured while something visibly changes.
When to use it #
- Launch and release videos: show a new feature the day it ships.
- Landing pages: a 30–60 second walkthrough above the fold.
- Onboarding and help docs: short how-to clips for each key task.
- Sales: a tailored demo for a prospect's use case, without booking a call.

Things to know before you record #
- DemoReady drives the live app, so anything the story creates really gets created. Use a staging environment or a demo workspace, and test accounts. Everything typed appears in the video.
- If the app needs a login, give DemoReady a test account in the story and it signs in for you, off camera if you like.
- The web app records sites reachable from the internet. To record an app running on your own computer, use the MCP connector with your AI agent.
Pricing #
A single demo is $4, with no subscription. It includes up to 8 scenes, voice-over, no watermark, two AI script rewrites and two re-records. If you make demos regularly, Pro ($29/month) and Studio ($99/month) include a monthly allowance. See pricing.
FAQ #
Do I need to install anything? #
No. DemoReady runs in your browser; the recording happens on our servers in a real Chromium browser.
What if my UI changes after I record? #
Record again. Because the AI performs the script rather than replaying recorded coordinates, it adapts to layout changes, and a re-record takes minutes.
Can I edit the script? #
Yes. Every scene's goal, caption and spoken line is editable before recording, and you can ask the AI to rewrite the script with feedback.
What format is the video? #
A 1920×1080 H.264 MP4 with AAC audio when voice-over is on, which plays everywhere: websites, YouTube, LinkedIn, Slack and email.
